We focus our outreach on nonprofits, businesses and other organizations that are actively engaged in efforts to improve the lives of others, to create a more sustainable world, and to promote the ideas of “local living” and quality of life. This experience gives us a strong foundation and a breadth of knowledge that allows us to build everything from cost-effective single efforts to multi-platform strategic marketing and communications campaigns.
STRATEGY & CLIENT SERVICES
Mike is an accomplished marketing and communications leader with experience engaging with and growing market share through the design and implementation of strategic brand marketing initiatives. He is an innovative problem-solver able to leverage his experience working with both for-profit and nonprofit organizations to capitalize on new opportunities. From 2009-2014, Mike served on the Board of Directors of Story District, a DC-based arts organization dedicated to the art of autobiographical storytelling.
amy auchincloss kaden
Amy is a marketing professional with a background in partnerships, client services, and business development. Before joining Nice Work Company, she spent time fundraising and event planning in academic environments. She held a variety of positions at Discovery Communications, managing partnerships with The National Park Service and The National Park Foundation and in new business development in the multimedia division. Amy also held positions in market research and client services at National Geographic Society.
video production and events
Dana oversees all aspects of development and production for national and regional advertising campaigns, public service campaigns, and corporate communications pieces. Well versed in location and studio production, she is also experienced in the live event environment for clients that have included AARP, PBS, ABC/Nightline, Democratic National Committee, and Children's Defense Fund, among others. She has produced commercial campaigns and long format pieces for a number of political candidates.
Tom Drymon is a writer and graphic designer with experience in direct response marketing (DRM), publication design, advertising and communications. His career began as a copywriter in the marketing department for a trade publisher with over 100 titles and evolved into experience designing DRM self-mailers and packages as well. Over time, he gained further experience designing and handling pre-press and production of publications, DRM pieces, brochures, posters, and other print materials.

Jeanette is a writer and editor who has worked on mission-driven projects in a variety of roles from program designer to curriculum writer to copy editor. She focuses on projects that foster connection, community, and curiosity for people of all ages. Clients include Nice Work Company, Discovery Communications, Johns Hopkins University, the Washington Capitals, and Sweet Virginia Foundation.
As a valued Nice Work Company partner, Sarah's expertise in grant and proposal writing provides our clients with an additional level of fundraising capabilities. She helped secure over $20 million yearly in government funds for American Councils for International Education during her tenure with the organization and, in 2012 alone, helped secure more than $50 million in U.S. government funding. Sarah continues to use her substantial experience with foundation and corporate funding for numerous DC-based nonprofits.
